Build a job budget and control exactly where pricing comes from
Use Cost Source, Price Items, Reprice All, and source badges to price the current job with approved company rates, historical evidence, AI estimates, or web pricing.
Budget Builder & Pricing Strategy
Budget Builder is job-specific
Budget Builder contains the current job’s phases, categories, descriptions, quantities, unit costs, markup, sell prices, actual costs, and pricing snapshots.
Click editable cells to change the budget manually, or tell Foreman AI what to add, update, organize, or remove.

What every Cost Source means
Cost Source controls the order Foreman AI uses to resolve unit costs. A source is used only when it has a compatible match.

Price Items
Price Items is the one-click action for rows that do not already have a pricing snapshot. It uses the Cost Source currently selected in the Budget toolbar and leaves already-priced rows intact.
Use it after adding new budget rows or when only part of the estimate remains unpriced.
Budget Builder & Pricing Strategy
Reprice All
Reprice All previews and recalculates every budget row using the current Cost Source. The preview shows old/new costs, source, number of changed rows, and total budget impact.
After confirmation, existing pricing snapshots are replaced. Use this when rates or pricing strategy change.

Source badges and coverage
Rows are labeled Approved Cost Catalog, Company Brain, AI Market Estimate, or Web Pricing. Coverage totals show how much of the estimate came from each source.
AI and web pricing are never labeled as approved company rates.
